Comics Buyer's Guide

Comics Buyer's Guide has been the de-facto standard for the comic book hobby for more than thirty years. Published by F&W publications, this monthly magazine is loaded with comic book news, history, commentary, and even a monthly price guide. Each monthly issue is over 200 pages and includes many columns that I read religiously every month - Peter David, Dear Captain (comic book history), Ask Mr. Silver Age (comic book history again), and lots of other interesting tidbits including series spotlights on a couple of different series every month.

If you are a long-time comics fan you may remember this as a weekly newsprint. They switched the format about two years ago to a monthly and while I do miss the weekly dose of comics news and information, I have grown to really enjoy the monthly format.

A subscription is only $30 which comes out to $2.50 a month, a steal for all of this comics goodness.
