The image above was hand picked by me to illustrate the differences between then and now - namely that if you had something like this in your yard today you would eventually get sued by every ambulance chasing lawyer in town!

The 1974 Kenner Fun Catalog

The Magic Whistle has posted a complete scanned copy of the 1974 Kenner Toy catalog. I remember peronally owning lots of these including those great SST cars with the rip cord that made them go!

The Six Million Dollar Man Give-A-Show Slides

Man, we sure had it bad in the pre-VCR/dvd days! Show this to your kids and let them know that THIS is what we had to do to entertain ourselves when there was nothing on tv - which was quite the norm rather than the exception.

Weird Toys Reviews The Classic Monster Toys By Imperial

Oh my god! These things are pretty horrible when you start looking at the closeups! My biggest question though is why did they decide to use ORANGE pants and a BRIGHT RED shirt for the wolfman? I know the movies were in black and white but I doubt that he really wore these colors!
