Wacky Billboards

These were actually posted at the WOMAN'S DAY web site, a site that I don't believe I have ever visited until now.

Luke Skywalker: Snub Fighter

This is a pretty funny re-editing/alernate universe Star Wars edit.

Darth Vader Penalty Kick

I know that most Americans just don't enjoy soccer but this thing is probably the BEST Star Wars parody video that I have EVER seen!

Vuvuzela and Hardy

Is it just me or does the guy on the right kind of look like the Algerian Adam Sandler?

Spinoff Movies from Saturday Night Live

We all know of the legend of SNL spinoff movies. Some are great and some are not.. or even worse than that.

Rotten Tomatoes has a countdown of all ELEVEN (I could have sworn that there were many more than this!) including video clips.

Evil Meatball Vs. Cat

I just found a great new (to me) blog that posts some great 'fake' toys and other licensed products like the one pictured above. They all look so real!

The 30 Worst Album Covers EVER!

While I have seen my share of absolutely hideous album covers (most of which did not make this subjective list) I can't argue with the original author, these things are really bad!

Little Billly's Letters

So this unemployed screenwriter is bored and starts writing all sorts of letters to famous (and infamous) people, posing as a young child. The letters are quite humorous as are the replies that he has received.

It Runs In the Family (1994)

Here is the last (so far) movie based on Jean Shepherd's writings. Also known as MY SUMMER STORY. It's interesting in that it has the same director as A CHRISTMAS STORY and lots of the same musical cues (but none of the same cast).

Part 6 is different from the rest (?).

Jean Shepherd on Archive.org

I don't know how long he has been there but archives of Jean's WOR shows are now available on archive.org. Who is Jean Shepherd you may ask? Have you ever seen A CHRISTMAS STORY? He is the original author/scriptwriter/narrator of the movie that is based on vivid retellings from his childhood memories. Highly recommended.
