As it turns out, the Japanese seem to love different flavors of Kit-Kats, so much so that Nestle produces lots of limited editions of flavors for their consumption (including burnt coffee, soy sauce, potato and lots more).
It might be fun to do this with your kids but for the most part I will stick with the prepackaged microwave popcorn because I would rather pay the quarter than clean up the inevitable huge mess.
Here is a really good post that is something of a tribute to discontinued cereals. It is a nice trip down memory lane - from Oreo-O's - which were quite tasty - to the classics Fruit-Brute and Yummy-Mummy, part of the 'monster' series of cereals.
