This blog features almost daily posts of lots and lots of thrift store junk and oddities. It's too bad that we can't replicate that thrift store smell to make the experience more authentic....

But did you ever read one when you finally got really frustrated with your purchase only to find that the $&*@#ing manual was even more difficult to understand than operation/putting together itself?

The Pocket Protector Museum

Ok. I am a huge geek. I don't wear a collared white shirt to work but I do talk about electronic gadgets and I do work with computers (although that is not my primary job) and I do work in a technical field. I have been doing this for twenty plus years and... well let's just say that I have never used a pocket protector so we can probably safely assume that they are dead. So why not start a museum to showcase your collection of 543 of ultra-geekdom from days gone by?

Paul Winchell and Jerry Mahoney - Chips of Wisdom (MP3)

April Winchell contributed this gem of a recording in which her father, Paul Winchell, made a 'kids' album that was so disturbing that 'we couldn't listen to it when we were little.'

The idea of the album is that a dad takes his puppet son to the woods to have a talk with him about character and wisdom!!!
