This is pretty far from a normal blog post here but being that I am an ex-squid I thought that this comparison chart was interesting. I don't think that you can truly appreciate the massiveness of this thing unless you have been up close to a US aircraft carrier.

My brother-in-law works on one. I forget which one, I've only met the guy twice. But they did film some of Transformers 2 on his ship.
