The Temple of Schlock has posted nine examples of Disney movie tie-in newspaper comic strips including The Shaggy DA, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, The Apple Dumpling Gang, and more. Does anyone remember seeing these in their local papers? I certainly do not.

They ran these Disney tie-in Sunday comics in New York. I can't recall which paper I saw them in (The Long Island Press?, NY Daily News?). I particularly recall THE BLACK HOLE drawn by Jack Kirby(!). Now that Disney has bought Marvel, they should reissue Kirby's BLACK HOLE comics in book form.
