I was sure I knew what the number one pick would be (hint: It lost the award to ANNIE HALL) but I can't argue with this author's picks. Can any of my readers come up with any better choices? Comedies seem to always fair poorly when it comes to this award.

Yes, 1939 had so many classics that were deserving of Best Picture with Wizard of Oz leading the pack.
