Poe Ghostal's Points of Articulation blog (a real mouthful to be sure) has posted a list of the top ten mail in action figures of all time and it brought back some dusty memories of mine dealing with the mail-in Boba Fett figure. I think that my brothers and I had saved enough proofs of purchase to get five or six of these things and we ran to check the mail every day for MONTHS as this thing seemingly NEVER came. Months later it finally did show up but the rocket launching capability of the backpack was now missing! What a gyp!
