CBS started their Saturday morning broadcasts an hour early this year to get the jump in this increasingly competitive market. Archie increased to an hour and Wacky Races was split into two shows - The Perils of Penelope Pitstop and Dastardly and Muttley In Their Flying Machines. Top it off with some dog detective show named Scooby Doo Where Are You? and some Bugs Bunny/Road Runner and you have quite a winning combination. This isn't even counting the Jetsons reruns which were always very popular.
