Here is an interesting idea for a blog - A Soviet Poster a Day.
This poster's title is 'Just Smoke Cigarettes.' No brand or anything like that, just an ad to get you to smoke cigarettes. Follow the link to the website to see why they would advertise such a thing!
Well, they don't post everyday but they do post often and they do translate the posters and they do provide some insightful commentary.
