Art Binninger, Star Trek Fan Extraordinaire #28818, created a series of fan films from the mid 1970's until 1986 called STAR TRIX. Of course, he eventually received a cease and desist letter from Paramount and had to stop. It's not exactly groundbreaking cinema or even really all that good but it is obvious that this person put a lot of effort into his craft and that he was dedicated to what he did. If only all of could be a bit more like that!
