In the 1970's, CBS attempted to revive the radio drama with this great show. Similar to the old radio broadcasts The Mysterious Traveler, The Whistler, and Suspense, the series normally focused on the macabre with an occasional foray into other genres. Broadcast nightly, it ran from 1976-1982 and totalled 1799 episodes. This show was very well produced and is a great example of radio drama at it's finest.
