Bollywood - Indian hollywood in which nearly every movie is a 3.5 hour long super-sappy romance/musical
Most Americans would probably absolutely hate Bollywood movies but I have kind of taken on a fondness for them. Even in the bloodiest (by Bollywood standards) civil war they always have time to drop their guns for a song and dance number and, of course, after the song they immediately resume their bloody civil war ('Bombay').
