A decent to cheesy featurette about the history of Godzilla and other movie monsters. Lots of cool clips from classic monster movies (1900 to about 1993) but the history part could have been much better presented. There was just too much extremely basic history to make it very interesting. I would definitely recommend it just for the classic monster movie clips though. The price was right ($4 at Big Lots), anything more and I probably would have been pissed. Video quality was mostly decent (VHS quality) so I really can't complain about that on this budget label (Passport Video) dvd.
I think that there is actually a Goodtimes dvd with this same title that is out of print. I borrowed it from a friend a few years ago and loved that one. It was all movie trailers and no cheesy 'documentary.' This one is highly recommended if you can find it.
