out of town

I missed a few days of posting earlier this week due to a business trip to Chicago. Also, will be on vacation (in Salt Lake City) for the next week and a half so probably nothing new for a while.

Pulp paperback cover art

The site hasn't been updated in over a year but there are still HUNDREDS of novels represented here. All are sorted by subject. Highly recommended\.

They also include the cover 'blurbs' for most novels which is worth the price of admission alone (FREE).

The Janus Syndrome (free e-book)

Here is a cool looking cover for a 1981 book that has been placed in the Creative Commons (similar to public domain). What this means is that you can download it as an ebook for FREE.

What does the bible say about flying saucers?

Nerd Watch Museum

Well, just in case you needed to see some older calculator watches this guy has put up just the website for you. What's that? You didn't want to see them? Try this link instead.

He calls it the 'Nerd Watch Museum,' appropriate but I would probably switch the words around a little (Watch Museum for Nerds).

Where else could you see this XXX Rated watch?

There's a pinball hall of fame in Las Vegas?

142 pinball machines (spanning 1948-2006) and 49 video games. Too bad my wife hates Vegas!

Click here to go the website.

The History of Bondage (?)

I just found this interesting book cover scan at Glyph Jockey's blog. I love reading the covers of these old books when I am browsing the thrift stores as they are always so sensational, and usually much more so than the actual novels.
