1960's Animated Commercials



Most of the animated commercials from this era were pretty low budget but they had a certain style that made them seem much cooler than could be imagined. Throw in a catchy jingle or two and you have something that usually stands up pretty well to the ages, certainly as well as most tv shows or cartoons from the era. Inspiration for this post comes mainly from Cartoon Modern by Amid Amidi which is a truly wonderful book featuring many images from this era of animation. Highly recommended!
