Vintage practical jokes courtesy of ADAM'S PRANKS

I bet many/most of the readers of this blog will remember this stuff.

Adams' practical jokes and novelties always had great packaging (and great ads) but rarely delivered on the premise in execution. Remember the 'Joy Buzzer'? It was just a wind up spring that rattled when you activated it by shaking hands. It was, at least to me, nothing like an electric shock.

I do remember saving my allowance to buy this junk at our local newsstand - which was also the local porno purveyor so I nearly had to sneak in to the store to keep my mom from finding out.
