Vinyl purists take note: this is one great advantage of the cd over the lp (lp as in long-playing vinyl album kiddies).
I don't remember ever knowing anyone who had one of these but I do remember trying to use a battery powered record player in the backseat.
Did it work? Well, no, not really.
